Aaah... to one day have International appeal like Tom Pohlman. Ooops did I say that out loud?

Hi Tom! No story about this being a buddy of yours or something? You must know women have a "thing" for cowpokes.

Great composition! Love how you split up the space into those triangle shapes of light and shadow.

Tom, I love, love , love your painting style! You make it look to easy and natural. BTW, thanks for checking out my blog.

R, Dana & Carrie- I really appreciate your feedback! This is one of my personal favorites that I have done so far, for all of the reasons you have mentioned. In particular, I love the lost edges (like the arms) where I was pulling off of a stroke. I have screwed up a lot of paintings since, trying to recapture that magic :>) Hope you all have a great day! -T

Beautiful! I love how the chili peppers leads me right to the figure and when I get to your focal point it is painted with a great combination of expressive brushwork and color.

And your version of the Jefferson Memorial is fantastic!

Tom I just love your brush work! I also love the vibrant colors created by the sunlight. This gives me a feeling of a lonely cowboy.
