Bang Bang Buffalo

I did a quick study last night, from a recent photoshoot with one of my favorite animals. Somewhere down the road~ I plan on doing a LIFESIZE painting (or drawing) of a Buffalo, Rhinoceros and maybe an Elephant!

Hey Tom, Been missing you. Glad to see you back with a vengeance. I love what you've done so far with both of your current works. Your brushwork and color choices always amaze and inspire me. -Don

Hey you're still good lookin' as ever. I am so envious you get to go where "you know who" roam.

How are your boys? Are ya taking care of yourself too?

Thanks Don! I was relieved to get the little one done the other night~ and Im enjoying working on the bigger version of the sheep study. The feeling is mutual by the way :>)

SHEILA!!! You always make me feel good :>) A friend of mine burst my bubble and corrected me~ the Buffalo is actually a Bison! To me, it was just a big, wooly, magnificent thing to behold at close range!

Me and the boys are adjusting to our new life. I wish I could say it was better now, but as you are all too familiar, sometimes change isn't always for the better (at least it feels that way here in the short term).

One thing that hasn't changed, I have tried to burn a new happy memory into their little brains every single day since they were born~ even before all of this mess started. As they get older, no matter what anyone else says or how much time erodes all of the little details... the overall image of me will be indelible. As a father, as a man~ that is all that matters to me.
